Urban Escargot
Nico Fini is the “powerhouse” behind Urban Escargot. Being French by origin, Nico is passionate about food and sets himself high standards in delivering to his clients something that they will not only remember, but also rave about in time to come. Nico has trained and worked in some of the most exclusive restaurants in France (including 3-star Michelin Georges Blanc). Since arriving in New Zealand about 19 years ago, Nico has been involved in various restaurants in Christchurch, e.g.:executive chef for French Farm Winery (Akaroa) and “The Charlotte Jane” Restaurant.
Nico established his own catering service under the name of Nico’s French Dinner Party Services soon after his arrival in New Zealand. This business grew and thrived largely by word-of-mouth and repeat business (which we take as assurance that perhaps Nico was doing something right!).
